We are located 9 miles south of Riggins - "Idaho's Whitewater Capital." US Highway
95 is our eastern boundry and 2200 feet of the Little Salmon River bounds us to
the west. We are at the base of the Little Salmon River Canyon at an elevation of 2300
feet, which provides weather protection from the storms that effect the high country.
As a result we are open year 'round. Six thousand feet above us are the
Seven Devils, the Idaho wall of Hells Canyon.
The Resort has
54 sites, each with a 12 foot wide gravel driveway and 18 feet of
grass. Lengths vary from 29 to over 60 feet. Each site has 20/30/50 amp power,
water with pressure relief, telephone jack and a TV coax connection.
Wi-Fi is free
and available throughout the Resort. In the center is a building housing
restrooms
and showers,
a complete
laundry facility and a 500 sq. ft.
Recreation Room with
sink, cabinets, microwave, piano, game tables and more. This building has
heated tile floors and is air-conditioned. Our proximity to the river requires Dump
Stations. There are two, acessible from either direction.
At the south end is our
Country Store and Gallery. This is where you Check-In, can
purchase beverages, convienence items, fishing tackle, fine wines and the work of
artists and artisans that are
"Exclusively Idaho." We also offer a Book Exchange
and selected RV products. Your Hosts, John and Cindy Laner live on-site so security,
personal attention
and the ability to meet your needs is never in doubt.
Canyon Pines Adventures wants to make your visit memorable. With our knowledge of
